The Peachtree Street Master Plan is a competition entry to enhance Atlanta's principal thoroughfare. Over a twenty year period, the street's commercial, civic and transit nodes are enhanced with "civic gates" and "lateral gardens". The plan was awarded Second Prize out of 110 international submissions; jurors called it "an intriguing idea, perhaps the freshest approach in the competition."
