Suisman Urban Design in collaboration with Roschen VanCleve Architects was asked by Polis Builders to develop a conceptual master plan for an affordable housing and retail complex at the Westlake/MacArthur Metro Red Line Station. The design includes 199 housing units, 50,400 s.f. of retail space, a public plaza, a potential childcare center and parking for transit users. Stores and restaurants cluster around two public spaces called Plazuela del Mercado and Plaza de las Americas, whichwill incorporate the Metro Red Line entrance and exit portal.
