The city of Marina, California has engaged Suisman Urban Design to develop a vision for a new town center, combining mixed-use development, a bus transit center, and a central gathering space. The concept design reconfigures the site into new streets and blocks, which are organized around a new Market Square. The project includes 150 residential units, 30,000 s.f. of retail, a new “town room” for meetings, and an intermodal transit center for Monterey Salinas Transit.
